Location: Outside my window at work at the National Weather Center in Norman, OK.
Date/Time: July 23, 2008 ~ 9am
Mike’s Observations: This young gangly barn swallow attracted a lot of attention.
Mike’s Observations:The bird in the middle is showing off its throat while the bird on the left is making some noise.
Mike’s Observations:This one decides to strut his stuff.
Mike’s Observations:Order in the court.
Mike’s Observations:A perspective of one bird’s trademark thin forked tail.
Mike’s Observations:The center of attention tucked its head which seemed to signal the other bird to have a closer look.
Location: On west Main Street just west of 48th street in Norman, OK.

Mike’s Observations: We saw this one on a family bike ride near our house.
